Karl Ludwig Reimer (* 25 December 1845 in Leipzig; "† 15 January 1883) was a German chemist and Industrieller.

Reimer buildup in Berlin and studied chemistry at the universities in Goettingen, grab forest and Heidelberg. It attained a doctorate 1871 at August William of Hofmann and changed then into the industrielle research. Its main point of work was the chemistry of the smelling materials. Together with William hair man it created the company Haarmann & Reimer active in this area in Holzminden (today come up in Symrise).
