Julius Meinl (* 18 January 1869 in Vienna; "† 16. May 1944 in Altprerau, Lower Austria) was a managing director of the Austrian food company Julius Meinl AG. Under its line Julius Meinl I. became from the simple grocer's shop of its father (* 10 April 1824 Graslitz/Kraslice, Czech republic, "† 24 December 1914 Vienna); one of the prominent enterprises of the Austrian foodstuffs industry.

In the context of its company it converted besides some sociopolitical ideas, which should be determining for other enterprises also, for instance the introduction of the 5-Tage-Woche (1931).

Meinl worked also as a diplomat: In the context of the so-called Meinl group, a loose union of pazifistischer politicians, lawyers and industrial leaders, he was crucially involved in the preparation of a peace conclusion with the Entente in the years 1917/1918.
