Juergen Bernardo Donges (* 1940) is a professor for economic policy at the university to Cologne.

Career/development

After buyer teachings study of the political economy at the university of the Saarland in Saarbruecken, diploma conclusion 1966. 1969 it locked the graduation at the same university. 1969-89 it researched at Institut for world economy Kiel, 1979 it fee professor was appointed. Since 1989 he is a professor for economic political sciences and economic policy at the university there to Cologne and one of the directors of the institute for economic policy.

Donges is a representative of the order-political beginning of the economic policy. It has a special interest in questions of the Spanish economy and published a set of articles into spanischsprachigen Zeitschriften.1992-2002 was it member of the board of experts for the investigation of the overall economic development ("five way"), 2000-2002 as a chairman. It is member of the Kronberger of circle - the scientific adviser of the employernear donation free-market economy, as well as Ambassadors of the initiative new one social free-market economy financed by the employers' association total metal.
