Josef Hellauer (* 1. June 1871 in Vienna, "† 3. December 1956) be professor to the Johann Wolfgang university in Frankfurt/Main and to the academy in Vienna. It is considered as one the outrider to the independence of the management economics as independent science.

1892 he assistant at the commercial academy Vienna after it some years in credit institutes practical experience had collected. 1894 he took the examination for the teaching profession at higher schools and was thereafter a teacher at the commercial academies Linz and it attained a doctorate to 1897 at the University of grab forest and became already 1898 tidy professor at the newly geschaffenene export academy. to 1912 it went to the Handelshochschule Berlin and 1921 followed it a call to the university into Frankfurt at the Main.1931 received it the Handelshochschule Berlin and and 1936 to the university for world trade (before export academy). 1936 it was emeritiert. In its scientific work it is concerned particularly with the world trade and particularly with its organization and the sales contract.
