Josef Afritsch (* 13. March 1901 in Graz, "† 25 August 1964 in Vienna) was garden technician and politician

Starting from 1945 he was local council and office-prominent town councillor for the general administration of Vienna, 1959 became he a director of city garden, from 1959 to 1963 was Afritsch Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Austria and finally for the Viennese international horticultural show 1964.
