Johannes Manardus (* 24. July 1462 in Ferrara; "† 8. May 1536), also Italian Giovanni Manardo, Giovanni Manardi or Hungarian Manardus mentioned, was at the beginning 16. Century of one of the prominent physicians in Italy.

Manardus was a physician and friend of Giovanni pico della Mirandola. 1513 it was appointed as the body physician of the king Wladislaw in furnace. It served also its successors Ludwig II. It stood also in services of the Erlauer of bishop Kardinal Hippolit d'Este (1479-1520).

After the return after Ferrara 1519 it followed 1526 Leoniceno as a professor at the University of Ferrara.

Manardus belonged to the human partnership Sodalitas Literaria Hungarorum and stood in exchange of letters with Martin Pollich of Mellerstadt.
