Johannes harddear (* around 1400; "† 1468) were a physician of the late Middle Ages. Harddear Albrecht III. stood and served it as advisor and a body physician in the service of the Wittelsbacher of duke. Harddear among other things one of the earliest German herb books wrote and in the year 1456 "puch all verpoten art, ungelaubens and zaubrey" around 1440 (=Das book of all forbidden arts). The latter contains the first well-known recording a witch ointment prescription.
