Johann George Grasel, also: "Grasl", (* 4 April 1790 in Neuserowitz, "† 31 January 1818 in Vienna), was a Austrian robber.

The son of a Abdeckers, lived a gang of approximately 60 members on thefts, robbery, fraud and acceptation of stolen goods and scharte thereby around itself, which brought into Lower Austria and the call of a feared "robber captain" to him. 1815 it was imprisoned taken in with horn and executed later in Vienna. In the people excessive quantity it was stylized posthum as a noble robber, who presented realms bestahl and arms. In the forest quarter one finds today still many restaurants, which carry its name. In the place of pilgrimage of Maria Dreieichen (Lower Austria) it gives a cave, which is to have used Grasel as hiding place. Unfortunately this was strongly damaged in the course of the transformation.
