The United States junior Chamber or Jaycees is an organization, which sat down to the goal of helping persons at the age between 18 and 40 in the business life and with its vocational career. US Jaycees were created in the year 1920 in Saint Louis, Missouri. Additionally to the vocational development aid she notices also a non-profit function, by donating money for karitative organizations and furnishing honorary activities. In the year 1948 the junior Chamber international in Mexico city, Mexico was created as international folders of the Jaycees.

The national organizations, which form the federation of the JCI, are in more as 6,000 local federations active and in more than 100 nations and federal territories convenient.

The JCI head office was established to 1951 and is appropriate since 1969 in Coral Gables, Florida.Im years 2002 the JCI head office after Saint Louis, Missouri was shifted, where also the first local organization was created. The USJC head office lies at present in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Each year is held a world congress, the latter took place in October 2005 in Vienna.
