JARA (Japan Robot Association) is an important federation for industrial companies from the robotics range. Seat of the federation is in Tokyo (Japan).
The federation was created 1971 as Industrial Robot Conversatione. 1972 took place a renaming and a reorganization in Japan Industrial Robot Association (JIRA). There the field of application of the federation extended to robots did not only plan 1994 renaming in Japan Robot Association (JARA).
