January Philipp Reemtsma (* 26 November 1952) Professor Dr. phil. (University of Hamburg) are literature scientist, essayist, political journalist, founder and executive committee Hamburg institutes for social research (HIS) and teach at the university Hamburg.

Life

January Philipp Reemtsma studied Germanistik and philosophy in Hamburg. After reaching 26. Lebensjahres could have it according to will its inheritance and it sold its inherited portions to the Reemtsma Cigarettenfabriken GmbH.
