Jakob welfare man (* 21 August 1846 in hostage brook, district Aschaffenburg (Lower Franconia), " 15 February 1927 in Munich) was a German building contractor.

As a son of a glazier welfare man visited the building trade school in Munich and took with 19 years the building mastership examination. It hospitierte one term at the polytechnic institute in Zurich, where it worked as a technician with the building of stations. To short activity in Aschaffenburg it went to Berlin, in order to train itself further in the master studio of the Schinkel pupil Martin Gropius as well as at the citizens of Berlin building academy.

Approx. 1868 it returned to South Bavaria and dedicated themselves to the building of railways, first as an employee (south station east station in Munich, new market in the Upper Palatinate). Starting from the year 1871, which is therefore considered as a birth year of construction industry J. Heilmann, he built railway lines on own calculation (Obertraubling Eckmhl, Warngau Schaftlach Reichersbeuern Vilseck pastures, Dinkelsbhl.

1877 moved welfare man definitely to Munich, in order to dedicate itself to the above ground construction. 1892 occurred his son-in-law Professor Max suffering man (1862-1931) the construction industry, whereby those developed for welfare man & suffering man open commercial company, late GmbH. The real estate business was cared for by the Heilmann' real estate company AG and various real estate companies.
