Irma A/S is a Danish supermarket chain. They were created 1886 as food shop on the Ravnsborggade in Copenhagen. The founder was Carl Schepler. The chain belongs with Marks & Spencer to the oldest grocery chains of the world. The chain operates at present (April 2006) 70 business, most of it in over around Copenhagen. The chain belongs to the Coop Danmark group.
