Geographical situation

The of mountains is to a large extent a component of the Schleswig Geest. In the year 1970 the nature park mountains was created. This is the northernmost nature park of Germany.

The highest collections of the of mountains are those cross-eyed mountain (third biggest mountain of Schleswig-Holstein) with 106 m, the Aschberg (fifth-highest mountain of Schleswig-Holstein) with 98 m as well as the Heidberg, which 92 m is high. The Aschberg is particularly because of its Bismarck monument famous. The Heidberg is particularly with Wanderern likes. Its point consists of a Findling.
