Herpa of miniature models ( of patents) with seat in Dietenhofen (Bavaria) is one of the largest producers of full-scale auto, TRUCK and airplane models world-wide.

Assortment

It covers auto, bus and truck models on a scale 1:87 and 1:160 from plastic and airplane models in the yardsticks 1:160, 1:200, 1:400, 1:500 and 1:1000. With Herpa each year over four million PASSENGER CAR and truck models are produced - more than together with all other German model automakers. The enterprise employs 250 coworkers.

Herpa Wings

With the Herpa Wings concerns it miniature of airplane models in various yardsticks. They were brought in February 1992 on the play goods fair on the market, at that time still some few from plastics in 1:500. Today, more later there are than 10 years hundred models of innumerable airlines in the yardsticks to 1:1000, 1:600 (so-called liking IC models), 1:500 (standard), 1:400, 1:200 and 1:160. Starting from 2001 the airplane models were completely again revised and offered as so-called NG (new generation) - models, whereby the chassis and wheels are very much detailed among other things now and manufactured accurately full-scale. The detail loyalty is astonishing - many airlines sell the models in on-board sales. The moreover there are different airport sets from several epochs as well as accessories (car, lamps, houses, trees etc.) from Herpa, as well as to buildings and basic foils.

Wingsworld and measure: Staff

Also two regular collecting tank magazines, the Wingsworld (since 1997) and that measure: Staff, are published by Herpa. In these one is informed six times in the year about novelties. The Wingsworld contains reports over airliner types, airlines, airports and collecting tanks. That measure: Staff is concerned with the automobile program. The main catalogues (likewise separately according to Herpa Cars&Trucks and Herpa Wings) appear once in the year. Beside this every two months appear folders with novelties.
