Hermann Howaldt (actually Hermann Heinrich Howaldt, * 5 January 1841 in Braunschweig; " 2 December 1891 in Braunschweig) was a German sculptor, ore caster and a copper driver.

Life

Hermann Howaldt was born in Braunschweig as a son of the ore caster and copper driver professor Georg Ferdinand Howaldt. He learned first in its workshop at the Helmstedter road the fastidious artistic handicraft. Immediately the bildgiesserei of the artist family under George Howaldt & son firmierte.
