Hermann Bente, (* 22. June 1896 in hessian Lichtenau, "† 23. November 1970 in keel) be a German economist.

He collected first seven years practical experience in the agriculture and in the Bankwesen.1923 locked he his studies at the Universities of Berlin, Hamburg and Kiel with the graduation to the Dr. sports club phil. It was entrusted from 1923 to 1933 with the editorship line of world-economical archives in Kiel. 1930 it habilitierte itself in Kiel for on the right of and economic science. it received an appointment to 1933 to the full professor in Kiel. To its fields of activity belonged the theoretical political economy, agricultural policy, external trade politics and economic planning politics. In addition it was an author of numerous economiceconomics publications.
