Herbert head (* 28 September 1947 in sea-soil, is a Austrian politician of the and former Federal Minister for social security, generations and consumer protection in the Federal Governments dish I and dish II.

It locked its training as Magister of the veterinary medicine at the University of Vienna. Vocationally head was active as a veterinary surgeon with private practice. Politically it worked as a district party chairman, local council, national party chairman, delegate to the national council, third president of the national council, Federal Party chairman and vice-chancellor. Further it is more actively "age gentleman" at the striking "academic land crew to Vienna". From 24 October 2000 to January 2005 he was Federal Minister (from 24 October 2000 to 28 February 2003 CBM for social security and generations, since 28 February 2003 CBM for social security, generations and consumer protection).
