Sir Henry Hallett Dale COM, GBE (* 9. June 1875 in London; "Â 23 July 1968 in New York) was a British biochemist.
Dale studied to Cambridge University, then he worked on the University college London. In the year 1914 he transferred a leading function in national institutes for the Medical Research to London.
In the year 1932 it was struck to the knight. Together with Otto Loewi (OUTER ONE) it received "for its discoveries during the chemical transmission of the nerve impulses" 1936 the Nobelpreis for medicine.
