Henry George (* 2 September 1839, "† 29 October 1897) was a US American political economist and the most influential proponent of a standard tax on country. He is an author 1879 of the published book progress and Poverty (progress and poverty). George was a proponent of the free trade and a conservative critic of the soil pension.
