Harold Frederick Shipman (* 14 January 1946 in Nottingham; "† 13 January 2004 in Wakefield) was a British physician.

Shipman became admits, since he killed at least 215 humans as a practicing physician in the period of 1975 to 1998. This brought in the name "Dr. Tod" for it. It itself in the prison of Wakefield. Altogether medical treatments 459 persons died during Shipmans. The exact number of deliberate killings is unclear. According to newer realizations Shipman with large probability is responsible for 250 murders. The number of 508 murders, which Shipman admitted allegedly opposite a Mitgefangenen, is not correct.
