Hansjoachim Rosenthal (* 29 November 1956) is double murderer.

Rosenthal raped and murdered on 27 February 1988 the bank employee Claudia Mrosek in the silver stone route in Berlin

Entrance into the crime film-alga-laminated found this case, because for the first time in Germany with the help of the DNA analysis (genetic finger mark) a murderer was transferred. Rosenthals lawyer, Hans Christian resisted at that time vehement the new procedure, since he saw this as an interference into the personality right. After the test result Rosenthal before court admitted its debt, it explained however that it had come to because it heard voices, which instructed it the act. The defense pleaded thereupon on debt inability because of a personality splitting. In the opinion the public prosecutor's office was however criminally without reservation responsible Rosenthal.

Rosenthal, which was arrested already once in the year 1976 because of murder with robbery on the splinter duration restaurant owner Helene baron, was condemned in December 1988 to lifelong imprisonment. Due to its danger additionally a preventive detention was arranged.
