Han Deqiang geb. 1967) is an economist and the most well-known globalization critic of the People's Republic of China. He teaches as a professor for statistics at the university for air and space travel in Peking.

Admits became Han Deqiang with its 2000 book Pengzhuang published: quanqiuhua xianjing yu Zhongguo xianshi xuanze ("collision: Case of globalization and of China real choice"), which released violent discussions in China. Han warned therein of the entry of China to the world trade organization, which the lower classes of China, which will bring, predominantly disadvantages to workers and farmers. By the book Han became one the most prominent intellectual one Chinese "new linking". 2003 it excited attention, by initiating a Petition against the Iraq war of the USA, in which the Iraq politics of the US Government in by far sharper form were condemned, as by the Chinese government. In the same year it made headlines to international conference of Marx in Havanna, since it warned Mao Zedong and the Chinese culture revolution defended and the Cuban intellectual ones before an orientation at the new Chinese "market socialism" in a lecture. Han stated the fact that the communist party of China does not represent today no more the interests of workers and farmers but to capitalistic elite orients itself.

Also in the area of the public health policy Han announced itself to word, by criticizing and demanding the "Verwestlichung" of the Chinese health service to rely more strongly on the traditional Chinese medicine.

As "Chinese Patriot" Han Deqiang for it occurs, the achievements of the western thinking tradition, whose achievements would lie in handling empirical data and in the construction of theoretical models to combine with the developments of the asiatic tradition which strove to fathom the nature of the things.
