h1 - Television from Hanover is the first television station for the region Hanover.

It developed 2005 from the former open channel Hanover, for a pilot project of the country Lower Saxony. This went to OKOK Television "and "the steep passport sport TV "on 22 September 1996 with the culture magazine "on transmission.

A goal is a current, critical and competent reporting of events from the political, cultural and social everyday life of Hanover and its environment. The transmitter is economically and politically independent and wants to be such a substantial component of the democratic medium landscape.

"h1" sends an extensive program, which is produced mainly honorary by citizens and citizens from Hanover on the cable frequency of euro EMS (channel S11) meanwhile daily starting from 17:45 clock. Individuals and groups of editorships as well as associations, initiatives and institutions the possibility is asked to present its interests of a broad public.

Editorships

0511 tv.lokal is one 19:00 clock editorships. A group of training the transmitter, the trainee and honorary one under the line one with the transmitter employee of editor form the editorship. Each week on Tuesday, is sent 30 minutes a program from cultural, local, and to socio-political topics.
