Ginger-well-behaved (Zingiberales) are one the plants (Liliopsida). The spreading is nearly purely tropical. Many kinds give to be used as ornamental plants. The most important Nahrungspflanze in this order are the bananas. Many important spice and welfare plants are here contained.

Description

There is krautige plants predominantly of several years with Rhizomen. Some kinds (for example bananas) form which let them work "palm-similarly", but these branch axles do not fell trees. • Lowiaceae: With only one kind and 15 kinds, with a spreading from southern China to Borneo:
  • Orchidantha
• Costaceae: With four kinds and 110 kinds, pantropische spreading:
  • Costus: With 90 kinds.
