Gustav Simon (* 30. May 1824 in Darmstadt; "† 21 August 1876 in Heidelberg) was a surgeon and author of medicine books.

Simon studied army surgeon in pouring and Heidelberg, was 1848-1861 in Darmstadt, went 1861 as a professor after Rostock, 1867 to Heidelberg. Simon particularly promoted the war surgery, the plastic surgery and the and made the first successful kidney releases.
