Gustav Adolf baron Steengracht von Moyland (* 15 November 1902 in Moyland/circle Kleve; "† 7 July 1969 on lock Moyland) was a German diplomat, politician and a war criminal.

Steengracht joined 1933 the NSDAP and became in the same year LV circle farmer leader of Kleve. 1936 to 1938 it was active in the agency Ribbentrop in London. In October 1938 it began its service in the Foreign Office as From 1940 to 1943 he worked in the personal staff of the realm minister of foreign affairs Joachim of Ribbentrop, starting from 1941 as a deputy chief aide. To 31. March 1943 he became successor of the past undersecretary of state Ernst von and remained up to the end of war in the office. Thus he officiated as a last undersecretary of state of the foreign office in the NS time.

Steengracht was accused in Nuremberg during the William route process and condemned among other things as a war criminal 1949 of participation in the Jew murder to seven years detention. In January 1950 he became from the war criminal prison Landsberg to dismiss prematurely.

The title "baron "(baron) is not correct. Steengracht was not a baron. Friedrich II. lent by cabinet order the baron title to 1751 at Adriaan Steengracht and sold to 1766 also the lock Moyland at Steengracht. The title could be left only over physical descendants. The baron at that time deceased however childless. The lock inherited a nephew of its cousin and this left to its cousin son, the ancestors of Gustav Adolf Steengracht. After the German aristocracy right thus Gustav Adolf did not have a requirement on the title. That seems however also its son not to disturb the today's "baron ". It calls itself unauthorized way Adriaan Nicolaus Adolf baron von Steengracht von Moyland.
