Guido Schmidt (* 15 January 1901 in Bludenz; "† 5 December 1957 in Vienna) was a Austrian diplomat and politician.

Political career

  • 1928 appointment as the cabinet vice-director by Federal President Wilhelm Miklas
  • 1936 relevant participation in coming off July agreements
  • 1936 appointment as the undersecretary of state for exterior
  • 12. February 1938 up to the 11. March of 1938 ministers of foreign affairs
  • 1945-1947 because of LV-friendly attitude in detention
  • 1947 acquitted
