Groklaw is a web page and an on-line magazine, which pursue the goal of lighting up the principles of free software legally. The project started by the American lawyer aid Pamela Jones became very fast popular, when it began briefly after the start of the project to examine the legal argument SCO against Linux around alleged copyright infringements in the source code of the operating system Linux.

The emphasis is when Groklaw in looking for and arranging of facts. There the members of the project from programmers, lawyers and clerks together sit down and the project are at the same time open, make the project a bridging between humans with technical know-how on and to humans possible with legal understanding on the other side.
