The Grey global Group is a world-wide group of communication agencies. The origin of the enterprise are the 1917 of Larry Valenstein created "Grey of Studios", a company for direct marketing (Mailings). In the consequence the power spectrum and the name grew changed to "Grey Advertising". Into the 1960er the enterprise expanded to a global net. The conversion 2003 amounted to 1.3 billion US Dollar with more than 10,000 employees. 2005 became Grey part of the: EN: WPP Group.

Chairmen and CEO of the Grey Group is global Edward ("OD") H. Meyer, its deputy and CFO is Steven G. Felsher.

The German Grey grew from the 1953 agency "advertising gram" created in Duesseldorf; it is member in the GWA.
