A Glaserei is a crafts enterprise, in which the occupation of the glazier is exercised. Usually a Glaserei has a camp, in which the windowpanes of different size and strength on glass supports so mentioned are stored perpendicularly or easily diagonally.

In addition there is usually a Zuschneidetisch, on which the windowpanes are cut. The glazier avails itself a glass cutter, which possesses at its point a from hardened steel and so that on the glass leaves a trace, if one pressure-exercise-proves with the tool over the glass surface - usually at a rail - along drives. Develops a break section, which lets the glass break with pressure by this trace into two parts.
