Givaudan is the world-wide largest manufacturer of flavours and odoriferous substances with a conversion of 2,778 million Swiss Franconia. History

Givaudan was created 1895 in Zurich by Leon and Xavier Givaudan. 1898 moved the company to Geneva and established a work in Vernier. 1963 were taken over Givaudan by Roche. One year later, 1964, took over the company also Roure, which was united 1991 with Givaudan to Givaudan Roure. This new firm thing transferred 1997 in the American Cincinnati the residents company Tastemaker. 2000 were separated Givaudan Roure from the nut/mother company as Givaudan and since that time led to the Swiss Exchange in the Swiss Market index. 2002 took over Givaudan finally FIS, the range of the Nestle company responsible for flavours.
