Gilberto Orejuela, called El Ajedrecista (splinter. "the chess player") is a Colombian Drogenboss and stated the Cali trust.

1995 it was seized together with its brother Miguel Orejuela in Cali and condemned to 15 years detention. Due to good guidance and the confession some of its crimes was shortened the punishment however on seven years.

In March 2004 Gilberto under the accusation 1990 150 kilograms cocaine into the USA to have smuggled again by Colombian authorities arrested. He was delivered on 3 December of the same yearly to the USA, its brother four months later. The prosecution on the part of the US authorities is limited to its activities since 1997, which it transacted from the first detention.
