The airline Ghana internationally airlines (GIA) took up 2005 as national airline of the State of Ghana the enterprise. It replaced the old society Ghana Airways, which had been liquidated 2004.

Ghana internationally airlines began on 29 October 2005 with daily flights between Accra and London Gatwick.Die airline had a Boeing 757, which is registered by Ryan airlines leased and under the number N930RD. The society has ambitious purchase plans with the goal of becoming the number one under the African lines. Their tickets are to be acquired on-line.

History

The airline was furnished 2004 as co-operation project between the government of Ghana and a group of private, international investors ("Public private Partnership"). Ralph Atkin, founder of the line SkyWest in the USA took over here executive functions. Besides are further experienced managers from the aviation range (like Ian Presbury, formerly with Kenya Airways, part of the management of Ghana internationally airlines.
