The German weather television is a German-language television station, which sends a program about weather. Its transmissions are partly moderated in addition, sent graphically prepared. To see are round forecasts, tempest warnings, summaries as well as weather as Lifestyle topic, councellor endings and documentations around the topic weather.

The German weather television refers its data and information from wetter.com AG in singing (Hohentwiel), the German weather service (DWD) as well as different Dienstleistern and private people.

The transmitter of that is produced German weather television GmbH with seat in Munich. Kind of sending was in October 2004.

The German weather television is digitally in the context of the Programmbouquets of cable Germany, cable German Federal Armed Forces (Baden-Wuerttemberg), ish (North Rhine-Westphalia) and iesy (Hessen) over a cable connection or by Onlinestreaming attainable, not however over satellite.

Already between 3 June 1996 and 29 January 1998 there was a similar program, which was produced by the weather and journey TV GmbH under the designation the Wetterkanal. Model of this channel was "The Weather Channel", which sends successfully in the USA. The program could not be established however on the German market, why the channel was reset.
