The German police trade union (DPolG) in the German civil service association (National Union of Civil Servants) is a German trade union, which is concerned with the interests of office-holders of the police. Seat of the DPolG is Berlin.
After that 2. World war, on 18 August 1951, was created out police officer federations the federation German police officers (BDP), already existing. At the same time the BDP joined the German civil service association, the public service obligated unionized roof federation.
The federation German police officers was the forerunner organization of the Polizeigewerkschaftim German civil service association (PDB), which renamed themselves on 17 January 1987 into "German police trade union in National Union of Civil Servants (DPolG) ".
Beside the DPolG are there in Germany still three further trade unions within the range of the police: the trade union of the police (Union of Police), the federal police trade union (bgv) and the federation of German Kriminalbeamter (BdK).
