The German Business aviation Association registered association (GBAA) is a community of interests within the Federal association of the German industry (BDI) for the promotion of the economic, political and legal interests of the high-complex services of the business air traffic, the work air traffic and the not regular commercial air traffic uses themselves.

Although the members of the association are according to definition of the international civil aviation organization (I.C.A.O.) enterprises of general aviation (general aviation), they border themselves in particular of the Freizeitfliegerei, which are operated predominantly with single-engine machines for purposes of the recovery or the sport, off.

The GBAA is member of the European federation European Business aviation Association (EBAA) with seat in Brussels as well as the world-wide controlling body internationally Business aviation Council (IBAC) with seat in Montreal in the house of the I.C.A.O.

The chairman of the GBAA is Dr. Bernd goose, DaimlerChrysler AG, its deputies is Ralf Schwiebus, Volkswagen AG, and Peter Gatz, private Wings GmbH.
