The magazine German Acta Eruditorum, the complete title reads German Acta eruditorum or history of the scholars, who begreiffen the present condition of the Litteratur in Europe, was a German-language, influential literature magazine 18. Century.

Under this title Johann Friedrich Gleditschs appeared 20 volumes from the year 1712 up to the year 1739 in Leipzig in the publishing house. Publishers were Justus God hard Rabener (from 1712 to 1719), Johann Christian and Johann George Walch. Starting from 1719 Christian held God-dear the editorship. Emphasis of the magazine were discussions of books; the articles became very estimated from the scholars at that time due to their impartiality and their good style.

In the magazine appeared until 1739 over 1500 reviews nearly only from scientific literature.

designated the magazine in the year 1740 over into reliable messages of the present, change and Wachsthum of the sciences. As reason for renaming it indicated the large number of volumes already published and their vagueness. Under this new title again 18 volumes appeared up to the year 1757. Afterwards the magazine was adjusted.

A complete microfiche edition came out 1993: ISBN 3-89131-095-1
