Nonnenmacher (* 2 November 1948 in Karlsruhe) is a German journalist and co-editor of the Frankfurt general newspaper (FAZ).

Nonnenmacher studied mash gau, Frankfurt/Main and Heidelberg political science, history, public law and philosophy in Freiburg in. After the graduation with Dolf Sternberger 1975 was Nonnenmacher of scientific coworkers in the subject political science at the comprehensive university Wuppertal, where it also habilitierte itself. it occurred 1982 the political editorship of the FAZ, since 1986 was it responsible person editor for foreign policy.
