Altrogge (* 16. May 1939 in Everswinkel) is a German economist.

Life

Altrogge studied mechanical engineering starting from 1957 afterwards to the TH Darmstadt and management economics to the TH Darmstadt, the William university and the University of Mannheim. In Mannheim it was attained a doctorate to 1970 with the work "realization at optimal costs of alternative in timing constant and of occupations" varying in the Zeitverlauf. He was a first scientific assistant at the University of Mannheim, later also managing director for the range of "entrepreneur min acres". After a lehr and a research work at the university Stuttgart habilitierte itself Altrogge at the University of Mannheim.

it received a call to 1976 to the University of Hamburg on the chair for Betriebswirtschafstlehre at the economiceconomics faculty. It published numerous publications to financialmathematical topics, which are meanwhile standard works of the training. Professor Dr. rer. pole. Altrogge is occupied mainly with the draft of mathematical models and their practice-relevant use. It puts special value on the synthesis of mathematics and marketing and management and their practical solution in the economic problem definition of enterprise practice. Also the most difficult financialmathematical models follow after its scientific statement of the purpose to maximize in the enterprise everyday life the profits and minimize costs.

Altrogge was initial member of the scientific commission environmental economy (KUW), their chairman from 1992 to 1994. Beyond that Altrogge engages itself as a contact professor for students in the VDI. Altrogge is since 1958 member of the catholic student connection K.D.St.V. Nassovia Darmstadt in the CV.
