Georges Jean Franz charcoal burner (* 17. March 1946 in Munich; "† 1. March 1995 in Freiburg in mash gau) was a German biologist.

After his Abitur in Kehl charcoal burner began 1965 a study of biology to at the university the Freiburg in mash gau, which he locked 1971 with the diploma. 1974 to 1976 Postdoc at the Medical Research Council Laboratory in Cambridge (UK) in the working group of Milstein. There he discovered the possibility for the education of monoclonal anti-bodies together with Milstein by cell fusion of Lymphozyten with cancer cells.

From 1976 to 1984 charcoal burner worked again on Institut for Immunologie in Basel, before he became to appoint 1984 as the director at the Freiburger institute for Max-Planck for Immunbiologie. 1984 he became a professor at the University of Freiburg.

1984 received charcoal burners as well as Milstein and Niels K. to Jerne the Nobelpreis in physiology or medicine.

Georges charcoal burner died 1995 with only 48 years at a pneumonia.
