George Mayr (* 12 February 1841 in peppering castle) was a statistician and a political economist.

Life

Born as a son of the of professor Aloys Mayr studied Mayr to Munich and 1865 at the university habilitierte itself daselbst, became 1868 extraordinary professor, 1869 Hermanns successors in the line of the statistic later also Ministerialrat, than which he created 1869 the "magazine of the Bavarian statistic in which it numerous, usually work relative to population statistics published.

Work
