George Joseph camel (* 21 April 1661 in (Brno); "† 2. May 1706 in Manila), was a Austrian Naturkundler, physician and a medal man.

It visited the High School of its hometown, completed pharmacist teachings and occurred 1682 as a layman brother the Jesuitenorden. 1687 it traveled over Genova after and from there out toward the Philippines, it arrived 1688 to Manila. In the there Jesuitenkonvent it furnished a pharmacy, particularly for the support of the missionary personnel, in addition, the native one. He wrote for the first time a systematic description of the plant world of the Philippines.
