General Dynamics is an US-American firm union and weapon manufacturer (armaments industry). The company is listed in the New York stick Exchange with the contraction GD. General Dynamics gains a conversion of approx. 12 billion US$ annually. CEO is Nicholas D. Chabraja.

General Dynamics built 1954 with the USS Nautilus (SSN-571) the first nuclear-driven submarine of the world, which undertook 1958 the first successful undercrossing of the north pole.
