With group of the G10 different groupings are meant depending upon context:

1. The G10, also "Group OF Ten ", "decade ", "The Paris club ": A 1962 created group of 10 prominent industrial nations. The initial members the USA, Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden and Japan agreed therein International Monetary Funds over GAVE (general Agreements ton of Borrow) further credits available to make. 1983 joined also Switzerland the G10, whereby the name was however maintained.
