As fuel materials in the economical account system, which serve the readiness of application of the machines and plants necessary for production during the production of finished products in enterprises for the power supply and for the maintenance, are considered. Contrary to the raw materials and the auxiliary materials the fuels are not included as a component into the respective final products.

To the fuels belong natural gas, water (e.g. to the cooling of the tools of the machines), electric current, gasoline, Diesel, lubricating oil and other lubricants as well as finery means.
