The enterprise founder, Karl Funder (* 15 October 1866; "† 10 October 1943) had acquired first sawmill in the year 1890 to be. 1911 extended it by paper factory in as well as by further sawmills. Its son Adolf Funder created 1943 the first fiber board work in pc. Veit, where production was taken up by fiber boards.

The Funder industry was since 1981 in the possession the today's Constantia ISO getting thing AG. It operated three works in pc. Veit to the Glan, two works in bold village (municipality Eberndorf) as well as a work in the German Rudolstadt.
