Friedrich "Fritz "Heinrich Karl hair man (* 25 October 1879 in Hanover; "† 15 April 1925 in Hanover) was one of the most notorious series murderers 20. Century. It is called also Vampir of Hanover.

During a court process Fritz hair man that he had murdered 24 boys, confessed the number of the missed boys amounts to 27 at the age between 13 and 20 years. According to own data it had killed its victims by a bite into the neck.

Hans Grans, the hair man in the first as accomplices heavily loaded (it was to have supplied hair man boy), first to death was condemned, an exculpatory letter of hair man provided for a renewed process against Grans, in which he was condemned to 12 years penintentiary.

Before the confession hair man was closed into a cell, which was prepared by the police. A large granite stone in the form of a wing altar carries the inscription in the center between the relief of a flame bowl and a broken rose: "The memory of our dear/of September 1918 to July 1924/the deceased of sons. The philosopher Theodor Lessing had observed the process and the case in the book "hair man - which publishes history of a who wolf ". Here Lessing dealt with the special role of the police in the case hair man; its book applies in the case hair man as a respectable contemporary work. During the determinations a psychological appraisal was made, which was published as "hair man minutes ".

The questioning of hair man by the psychology professor Dr. Ernst Schultze became 1995 of Romuald Karmakar with George (hair man) and Hentsch (school TZE) in the main roles under the title "the Totmacher "films.
