FRF1 is a transmitter contraction of the Friesi broadcast. In Hinte, its transmission area in the northwest Lower Saxony has resident transmitters. On 15 August 2005 the FRF took up and radiates its transmit mode testweise since 1 October 2005 in the regular transmit mode.
