The company Friedrich Siemens building of industrial furnaces was created 1856 by Friedrich Siemens, a brother of Werner von Siemens.

1857 build Friedrich Siemens the first furnace with its brother Sir William Siemens in London. 1867 resettle the company to Dresden. 1904 take over its oldest son Friedrich Carl Siemens the furnace building contractor and shift the company headquarters back to Berlin.

In the area of the building of rolling mill furnaces plants for the use of the blast furnace gas are designed from 1910 to 1920. The solution needed for it is patent-officially protected as regenerativ pusher type furnace under the No. 226121. Approx. 100 of such furnaces was provided by the company Friedrich Siemens. The company builds multi-zone pusher type furnaces, round soaking pits, gas producers and glass furnaces for works in Germany, Yugoslavia and Hungary in the years 1946 to 1949 with permission of the crew authorities. 1952 die Friedrich Carl Siemens.

1955 took place a transformation in a GmbH and a misalignment of the company headquarters after Duesseldorf. The management of the Friedrich Siemens building of industrial furnaces GmbH (FSI) existed in December 1956 of W. from John clay/tone and K. As address in a letter to the customers of the FSI "in the DOL 41, Berlin Dahlem" is indicated. The further development of the company is not well-known unfortunately.
